Rawalpindi: Pakistan Army thwarted the terrorist attack on Pakistan Air Force Training Airbase Mianwali and killed all 9 terrorists in the clearance operation.


According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), the terrorists attempted to attack the Mianwali Training Airbase early today, to which the Pakistan Army gave a befitting reply to the terrorists.


According to ISPR, the Pakistan Army took timely and effective action against the terrorist attack and foiled the attack on Pakistan Air Force Training Air Base Mianwali.


ISPR says that 3 terrorists were killed as a result of the timely action of Pakistan Army.


According to ISPR, 3 previously grounded aircraft and a fuel bowser were damaged while the soldiers ensured the safety of the assets.


ISPR said that a joint clearing and combing operation has been completed during which all 9 terrorists have been killed while a clearance operation was conducted in the surrounding areas after the failed attack on the airbase. .


ISPR says that none of PAF's functional operational assets were damaged in the attack, 3 grounded aircraft suffered minor damage in the failed terrorist attack and all three aircraft were non-operational.


ISPR added that the swift, professional conclusion of the operation is a reminder to the enemies of peace that Pakistan's armed forces remain vigilant, Pakistan's armed forces are fully capable of defending the homeland from any threat.
