After assuming the presidency of the Security Council for November, China has announced that the settlement of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict during this period will be the top priority of China and the entire Security Council.


According to the World News Agency, China's ambassador to the United Nations, Zhang Jin, said during the news conference that the first priority of the entire Security Council during the term of our presidency will be to resolve the Gaza conflict.


According to the report, Chinese Ambassador Zhang Jin said that this issue has been the focus of the Council's attention for the past few weeks and as the President of the Council, it has also been the focus of the Chinese Presidency along with other responsibilities. The Chinese diplomat said that the issue of extending sanctions on Afghanistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Libya and Somalia will also be included in the agenda of the Security Council.


Zhang Jin said that we will continue to pay attention to the situation in Ukraine. He said that China will carry out the work of the UN Security Council not only on the basis of the predetermined schedule but also taking into account the international situation.
