Renowned actor Faisal Qureshi will be seen in the lead role in the Punjabi film Mango Jatt, which will be released on Eid-ul-Fitr next year.


Director Abu Aliha while talking to Geo Digital said that this is a complete action comedy film, big actors from Punjab and Karachi are being cast in it, he said that Mango Jatt is the first Punjabi comedy film with a target audience. While there are children and teenagers, this movie will be a complete family entertainment.


Mango Jatt is Faisal Qureshi's first Punjabi film, but director Abu Aliha says that talks are going on with three major heroines for the main role in the film's cast, the name of the leading heroine and the rest of the cast should be announced soon. 


Abu Aliha has also won the International Award for Best Director at the UK Asian Film Festival for his film Javed Iqbal as a director.


 He has made eleven films so far, including Kataksha, Shino Gai, Tewar, Udham Patakh, Shot Cut, Dadal Javed Iqbal and Super Punjabi, while Once Upon a Time in Karachi, Lockdown and Taksali Gate are soon to be released. .


The shooting of Mango Jatt will begin from January next year while the locations include Lahore, Nankana Sahib, Bahawalpur, Islamabad and various locations in Nathia Gali.
