4 officials of Sindh Police who took money from Pakistani cricketers Sohaib Maqsood and Aamir Yameen were suspended and arrested.


According to SSP Haider Raza, action was taken against the police personnel on the orders of IG Sindh.


On the other hand, DIG Shaheed Benazirabad compiled an inquiry report on the issue of taking money from national cricketers.


According to SSP Haider Raza, the incident of allegedly taking money from cricketer Sohib Maqsood took place at Keria stop in Nawabshah area. 2 police mobiles were stationed at the Kariya stop, the photos of the officers on duty have been sent to cricketer Sohaib Maqsood.


Haider Raza says that departmental action will be taken against the policemen involved in taking money.


According to Sindh Police spokesperson, the SHO and Headmaster of Sakrand Police Station have been suspended.


According to DIG Shaheed Benazirabad, legal action is being taken against the four arrested officials.


Sindh Police officials say that the inquiry report of the matter is being sent to IG Sindh.


It should be noted that Aamir Yameen and Sohaib Maqsood had narrated the story of Sindh Police asking for bribe on social media.
