2nd semi-final: Miller's century, South Africa set Australia a target of 213 runs to win

In the second semi-final of the ICC ODI World Cup, South Africa set a target of 213 runs to Australia thanks to David Miller's brilliant century.


In the second semi-final of the World Cup being played at the Eden Garden in Kolkata, South Africa's captain Temba Bawama won the toss and decided to bat first against Australia.


The entire South African team was bowled out for 212 runs in the last over, David Miller was outstanding with 101 runs.


In the semi-final match against Australia, 4 players of South Africa were dismissed for 24 runs, however, due to rain, the match was stopped for some time, but then the game started again.


 South Africa's innings was started by Quinton de Kock and captain Temba Bwama, but Temba Bwama got out for zero in the first over of Mitchell Starc without scoring any runs. Then opening batsmen Quinton de Kock 3, Aiden Markram 10 runs and then Rossy van der Dosen was caught off Hazlewood for 6 runs.


In the conversation after the toss, South African captain Temba Buama said that I am not 100% fit but I am able to play.


There is a 50% chance of heavy rain in Kolkata on Thursday, however, the International Cricket Council has kept a reserve day in case the match is affected due to rain in this semi-final.


The match will begin on Friday, November 17, ICC reports, if the semi-final is postponed or cancelled on Thursday.


The Indian team overcame New Zealand by 70 runs in yesterday's World Cup first semi-final to advance to the final.
