A tourist bus plunged down a bridge in Venice, Italy, killing 21 people and injuring more than 20 others.


According to local media, the bus fell on the electric wires below the bridge, after which it hit the rails and fell 30 meters onto the railway track, causing the bus to catch fire. There were also citizens.


According to the rescue authorities, 21 people including German and Ukrainian foreign tourists and two children were killed in the accident while 5 people are still missing.


According to foreign media, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni expressed regret over the accident and said that the cause of the accident could be the sudden deterioration of the health of the driver.


On the other hand, the Minister of Transport of Italy has expressed the fear of increasing the number of deaths in the incident.
