A foreign news agency reports that Angelina Jolie claims that the humanitarian needs of Gaza cannot be met by a few trucks, and that what happened in Israel cannot serve as justification for bombing the civilian population of Gaza.

Angelina Jolie has referred to Israel's shutdown of water and fuel supplies to Gaza as a collective punishment, claiming that the people living there lack a border, a place to live, food, and the ability to evacuate. The right to cross borders in search of asylum is an essential human right.

The Hollywood actress added that Gaza has a total population of two million, half of whom are children, who have been living under siege for two decades.
