The request to prohibit Pakistani artists from performing in India was denied by the Bombay High Court.
The Bombay High Court rejected a plea to ban Pakistani artists, musicians and singers from working in India.
According to Indian media reports, a petition was filed by Faiz Anwar Qureshi in the Bombay High Court demanding that the Indian government ban any professional association with Pakistani artists in the country.
However, a Division Bench of the Bombay High Court comprising Justice Sunil Shukre and Justice Firdous Puniwala rejected the plea outright.
