Earlier, Instagram blocked the account of renowned American journalist Azmat Khan, winner of the 2022 Pulitzer Prize for International Investigative Reporting, for posting a story related to the Gaza war.


Female American journalist Azmat Khan said that after posting a story about the Gaza war on the social media platform Instagram, her Instagram account was shadow banned, that is, her account was blocked without informing her.


In his post on social networking website X, he said that many of his colleagues and journalists' social media accounts are also being shadow banned.
