In his speech, Maloney recalled that he attended the Cairo Peace Summit held in Egypt on October 21 and claimed that Hamas's goal was not to defend Palestine but to fuel a wider conflict. But the dialogue with the Arab and Muslim countries should be started.
He said that the crisis in the Middle East is one of the issues that will be discussed at the EU leaders meeting regarding the problem of illegal migration and related security threats, and he is closely related to this issue.
Prime Minister Maloney said that all European borders are under extraordinary migration pressure, particularly due to instability that stretches from the Atlantic Ocean to the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean.
