The Israeli army claims to conduct a large-scale short-term ground operation in Gaza

This was claimed in a statement by the Israeli army

Israeli troops and tanks launched a brief but massive ground offensive in Gaza late last night.

The attack comes as ground operations are expected to begin soon after nearly three weeks of Israeli bombardment of Gaza.

A video released by the Israeli army shows armored vehicles advancing on the Gaza border while a bulldozer clears the way and tanks fire shells.

According to the Israeli army, a targeted operation was carried out in northern Gaza late at night as part of preparations for the next phase of the war, after which the soldiers withdrew from the area.

Israel has previously made limited ground advances in Gaza over the past two and a half weeks, but this was the largest ground offensive to date.

Al Jazeera reports that this is the first time that tanks have been used, indicating that Israel is preparing for the next phase of the war.

Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu threatened on the night of October 25 that we are preparing for a ground attack along with heavy bombing of Gaza.

He claimed that preparations for the ground attack had entered the final stages and that the Israeli War Cabinet would unanimously decide to launch it.

More than 6,500 Palestinians have been killed in the Israeli offensive so far, and the ground operation came as the United Nations warned that Gaza was running out of fuel, threatening to halt aid efforts.

So far, 17,439 Palestinians have been injured by the Israeli bombardment, most of whom do not even have access to medical aid.

The number of martyrs from the Zionist bombing in Gaza has increased significantly during the last few days.

In a statement issued by the Palestinian Ministry of Health on October 25, it was stated that 756 Palestinians, including 344 children, were martyred by Israeli bombing in 24 hours, after which the total number of martyred Palestinians became 6,546.

On October 24, 704 Palestinian citizens, including 182 children, were martyred by Israeli bombing, which means that more than 1400 Palestinians have been martyred in just 2 days.

So far, no new figures have been released by the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

But there are reports of large-scale destruction and deaths due to Israeli bombing in Khan Younis, but there are no details in this regard.

Khan Yunis is a city in southern Gaza and residents of northern Gaza are being told by the Israeli army to move there for their safety, but this city is also being bombarded continuously.

'Nowhere in Gaza is safe'

The United Nations has said that no place in Gaza is safe and Israel is targeting every place.

Lynne Hastings, the UN humanitarian coordinator for Palestine, said in a statement: "When evacuation routes are bombed, when people are attacked in the north as well as in the south, when basic necessities for survival will not be available and when there is no guarantee of return, people will be left with impossible choices'.

He said that no place in Gaza is safe.

'It's not war, it's genocide'

Brazilian President Luiz Lula de Silva has said that the Israeli aggression on Gaza is not a war but a genocide, which has resulted in the deaths of thousands of children.

He said that what is happening in the Middle East right now is very serious, it is not a debate about who is wrong or right, but the real problem is that it is not a war but a genocide, during which 2 Thousands of innocent children became targets.
