Sindh government's decision to take massive action against illegal immigrants

The Sindh government has decided to take large-scale action against illegal immigrants. The Sindh Home Department has formed separate committees at the provincial, divisional and district levels.


According to the reports, it has been decided to deport illegal Afghans and other foreigners in Sindh on a large scale. Sindh Home Department has issued separate notifications of the three committees.


According to the notification, the eleven-member provincial committee will be headed by Additional Chief Secretary Home, while IG Sindh, Deputy DG Rangers, Additional IG Special Branch, Brigadier Five Corps, Joint DGIB, DG NADRA, DGF will be included in the committee. Commissioner Afghan refugees Sindh along with IA will also be part of the committee.


The ten-member committee established at the division level will be convener commissioners while the committee established at the district level will have deputy commissioners.


According to the sources, the committees will take steps to deport and prevent illegal foreigners, the committees will also monitor the issues of prevention of foreign residents in the provincial borders and urban areas.
