Senior journalist and teacher Professor Shahida Qazi passed away

Senior journalist, teacher and former chairperson of Karachi University's Department of Mass Communication Professor Shahida Qazi passed away.

According to the family members, Professor Shahida Qazi was ill and was undergoing treatment at Civil Hospital Karachi.

Professor Shahida Qazi was 79 years old, her funeral prayer will be offered tomorrow after Zuhr prayer.

The family has stated that Shahida Qazi would be buried in the University of Karachi cemetery.

It should be noted that Professor Shahida Qazi has the honor of being Pakistan's first female TV reporter.
