Petrol 40 and diesel Rs 15 per liter cheaper
A notification of new prices has been released by the ministry of finance.
There is a great news for the people, the government has announced a big reduction in the prices of petroleum products by Rs.40.
According to the notification issued by the federal government, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs 40 per liter while the price of diesel has been reduced by Rs 15 per liter.
According to the notification, the new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 283 80 paise per liter while the new price of high speed diesel has been fixed at Rs 303 18 paise per litre.
The Ministry of Finance says that due to the decrease in global prices and the improvement in the value of the rupee, relief was given to the people in petroleum prices. The new prices of petroleum products will be applied from tonight (October 16) to October 31.
It should be noted that according to the notification issued on October 1, 2023, the price of petrol was reduced by 8 rupees, after which the new price of petrol became 323.38 rupees.
According to the notification, the price of high speed diesel was reduced by Rs 11, after which high speed diesel came to Rs 318.18.
