Pakistan got off to a winning start by defeating the Netherlands by 86 runs in their first match of the ongoing World Cup 2023 in India.

The fast bowler of the national team, Rahars Rauf took 3 wickets and Hasan Ali took 2 wickets, while Shaheen Afridi, Muhammad Nawaz, Shadab and Iftikhar got 1 wicket each. Muhammad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel stood out with 68-68 runs.

After that, Pakistan's fifth wicket also fell on 182 runs, batsman Mohammad Rizwan got out after playing an innings of 68 runs off 75 balls, Mohammad Iftikhar also returned to the pavilion for 9 runs while Shadab Khan could only score 32 runs.


After that, Muhammad Nawaz got out after adding 39 runs to the total score of the team, after which Hasan Ali returned to the pavilion for zero, in the last overs of the match, Haris Rauf and Shaheen Afridi brought the score to 286 runs, after which Haris 16. The stumps got out after making runs, thus the Pakistan team got out by making a total of 286 runs in 49 overs while Shaheen Afridi remained not out by making 13 runs.


Dutch player Basdelde dismissed 4 Pakistan players while Paul van McCren, Logan van Beek and Aryan Dutt dismissed one Pakistan player each.

In the second and first match of the World Cup, the Netherlands team won the toss and decided to bat against Pakistan.
