Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Haider Abbas Rizvi's car was taken away from his driver at gunpoint.


The carjacking incident of Haider Abbas Rizvi took place outside a hospital in Gulshan Iqbal area of ​​Karachi.


According to police officials, a case of the incident has been registered in Gulshan Iqbal police station against two unknown accused in the case of MQM leader's driver.


According to the FIR, the driver said that Haider Abbas's son had brought his friend to Patel Hospital due to his condition deteriorating and after dropping the children at the hospital, he parked the Vigo vehicle and sat on the front seat where two armed suspects came. And they put a cloth over it.


The driver said that later, one of the accused took over the driving seat and took the car from there to Safora Chowk where he dropped me and fled with the car.


The police authorities say that the operation has been started to find the accused involved in the incident and their arrest will be carried out as soon as possible.
