Iranian Foreign Minister meets with the head of Hamas in Qatar, discussing the situation in Gaza

Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian met Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political wing of the Palestinian resistance organization Hamas, in Doha, the capital of Qatar.


According to Iran's official news agency IRNA, this is the first official meeting of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh with senior Iranian officials after Hamas's Storm al-Aqsa operation.


The latest developments in Gaza were discussed in the meeting. The Iranian Foreign Minister called the issue of Palestine as the most important issue of the Muslim world as before and said that the war crimes of the Zionists against the people of Gaza is the last limit because the blow they have received from the Palestinian people is unprecedented. .


He said that Iran has proposed to call an extraordinary meeting of foreign ministers of Islamic countries and Iran will never give up its principles and values ​​in support of the Palestinian nation.


Amir Abdollahian said that the Al-Aqsa operation is a natural response of the Palestinian nation against Israeli aggression, and Iran will continue its efforts to stop Israeli war crimes.


In the meeting, Ismail Haniyeh described the meeting of the top officials of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation as very important and said that it is hoped that the Muslim world will fully support the Palestinian nation.


He said that despite the Israeli government's war crimes, indiscriminate and brutal massacres, destruction of homes, mosques, hospitals and public places, the Palestinian resistance is strong.
