iPhone 15 prices have been slashed by China's e-commerce platforms.

According to reports, Alibaba and other Chinese e-commerce platforms are offering big discounts on the price of the new iPhone 15 launched by Apple.

Analysts say the iPhone 15 is not selling as well as its previous model in China.

Counterpoint Research said last week that sales of the iPhone 15 in China were 4.5 percent lower than those of the iPhone 14 in the first 17 days after it was on the market.

In China, Apple occasionally allows its partner vendors to offer discounts to boost demand.

JD.com is selling the 512GB iPhone for 7,498 yuan, 1,501 yuan less than its official price of 8,999 yuan.

Pandodo is offering the 128GB version of the iPhone 15 Plus for 6,98 yuan, which is 900 yuan less than Apple's retail price of 6,999 yuan.

The 512GB iPhone 15 Pro Max, which is priced at 11,999 yuan in the Apple Store, can be bought for 10,698 yuan on Alibaba's e-commerce platform Taobao.
