Because of Biden's Gaza policy, a senior US State Department official resigned.

On the continued support of Israel, the US administration also started raising voices against policy decisions, the senior official of the US State Department, Josh Paul, resigned over Biden's Gaza policy.

Senior US State Department official Josh Paul argued that the Biden administration's indiscriminate support of one party is unjust, harmful, and leading to policy decisions that are against American ideals, even though he disagreed with the supply of armaments to Israel.

He said that he could not change what was happening, so he decided to resign, watching the situation for the last 10 days and feeling powerless.

He said that there is no room for substantive dissent in the American system and that is what led him to this decision.

Josh Paul said that how many more Palestinian children will have to die in defense of Israel? The vast majority of Palestinians do not support Hamas, and they face grave challenges.

A spokesperson for the US State Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Josh Paul's decision.

Josh Paul has been the director of congressional and public affairs for the US State Department's Bureau of Political and Military Affairs for more than 11 years, according to US media.
