Australia: Preparing to build world's tallest wooden tower

Plans are underway to build the world's tallest wooden tower in Australia.


According to foreign media, the construction of a high-rise hybrid tower is being planned in the state of Perth in Western Australia, which will be built from wood, while the height of the tower will be more than 191 meters.


 Perth's Metro Inner South Joint Development Assessment Panel (JDAP) has approved Grange Development's proposal for the skyscraper, currently designated the C6 building.

C6 is being told that this tower will be made of wood and steel structure, which will be the first carbon negative residential building in Western Australia. 200 apartments will be built in this building consisting of 50 floors.


According to Grange Development, the construction of the C6 tower will use wood from 600 trees, while 45 percent of the building will be made of wood.



It is being told that if this skyscraper wooden building is built, it will also break the record of the tallest building Ascent Tower built in the American country of Milwaukee, which is 86 meters high and the building consists of 25 floors.

  It has been further stated by Grange Development that this building will be made eco-friendly and greenery will also be planted on the rooftop and other places.
