Shamlal said that earlier he used to go to the temple in Clifton for worship, which was quite difficult for him, he had to travel from one corner of the city to another.
The temple was founded by Shankarbhai Vaghela, Heerabhai Vaghela, Kalidas Makhwade and Kishan Hamusa who lived here for about 60 years.
He further said that for the further construction of this temple, he has written a letter to the University of Karachi in which he has asked permission from the university to bring in materials for the construction of the temple and the upper part of this temple with the support of Hindu Panjayat. It will be made.
Muslims also participated in Navratri festival at Jagat Devi Temple
Sham Lal said about the attitude of the Muslim and Christian community living around the temple that all Christians including Muslims participate in our festivals, they congratulate us on our Eids, we participate in their Eids, but the University Students especially, students of Sindhi, Political Science and Media Sciences often visit temples and churches for assignments.
