11 people drowned in Khairpur yesterday when a boat full of Baratis capsized in the river, local people rescued 5 people alive while the search for the remaining people is still going on today.
According to the details, people were going by boat to attend a wedding ceremony in Goth Jamaluddin yesterday, when the boat suddenly overturned, 11 people drowned, out of which the local residents rescued 5 people, while searching for 6 people today. Rescue operation is being done.
The police list Raja, Bakhsh Ali, Dadu Maruf, Salik Ali, and other others as missing. The rescue teams resumed the operation after 6 hours to evacuate the missing persons at Nara Canal.
