KARACHI: 2 businessmen involved in the business of referral hundi under the guise of LED lights and mobile phones were arrested.

 

The FIA ​​Anti-Corruption Circle raided the Paradise Center in Sadar area of ​​Karachi and arrested the two businessmen and confiscated the records from their possession.

 

FIA Deputy Director Javed Baloch said that 2 businessmen Muhammad Salman and Muhammad Yasin were arrested on the charge of money hundi, evidence of handing 765 thousand 470 Chinese yuan was discovered in the accused's possession.

 

According to FIA officials, a businessman named Shahzad alias Sambhai of Lahore used to supply Chinese currency to the accused. More than crores of rupees were referred to Hundi and the money was sent for buying and selling of electronic products of different countries.

 

According to FIA, a case has been registered against the accused under the Foreign Exchange Regulations Act.
